ESIGN Act and UETA aligned in the US, PIPEDA aligned in Canada. Every signed PDF carries a SHA-256 hash-chained audit trail.

Frequently asked questions

Are CelerSign signatures legally binding in the US and Canada?

Yes. CelerSign signatures meet the requirements of the US ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) in the United States, and Part 2 of PIPEDA in Canada, for commercial contracts, employment agreements, NDAs, and most corporate documents.

Can I export my existing DocuSign documents into CelerSign?

Yes — your signed PDFs and their audit trails come over as-is. There is no lock-in, and you retain full ownership of every document and certificate of completion.

What if I'm already paying DocuSign?

We're working on a buy-out credit for teams switching from DocuSign. Contact sales@celersign.com in the meantime and we'll help you make the move.

Is the audit trail court-admissible?

Yes. Each signed PDF includes SHA-256 hash-chained audit pages with timestamps, IP addresses, user-agent details, and signer identity confirmation — meeting the evidentiary standard expected under ESIGN, UETA, and PIPEDA.
